Pete Kamer

Pete is a licensed professional engineer who started his distilling career in 1978 at Seagram Distillery in Louisville. In 1985, he went to work for Barton Distillery as their Engineering Manager, retiring in 2011 to start his own engineering company, Distillery Engineering. Since then, Pete has helped small to medium sized distilleries with everything from site and equipment selection, to plant layout, startup, and trouble shooting. He was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2023.
